Ann Perham Wins Post in ALA Election |

Congratulations to Ann Perham, MSLA Web Master and Past President, who was elected Director-Elect for Region I of the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) Affiliate Assembly in the recent ALA Election. Region 1 includes all of New England. There are 7 regions across the United States.
As an affiliate of AASL, MSLA sends two representatives to the Affiliate Assembly twice yearly, at the ALA Midwinter Meeting in January and at the ALA Annual Conference in June. Ann has represented MSLA at the Affiliate Assembly several times over the last three years. The Regional Director facilitates communication amongst the region affiliates throughout the year and works with the Directors of the other regions and with the leadership of the Affiliate Assembly. Ann will take on her new position at the upcoming ALA Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. on June 22.
