EXPLORATORIUM

 MSLA Member Exhibits of Best Practices
from 3 PM on Sunday through 4 PM on Monday

Earn 15 PDPs for sharing a successful idea, tip, project or program that aligns with the AASL Standards for the 21st Century Learner or the MSLA Information Fluency Standards.
DOWNLOAD the application - due October 1, 2008

Criteria for Exploratorium exhibits:

  •  Exhibits must show a practical or creative application of the MSLA Information Fluency Standards and/or the AASL Standards for the 21st Century Learner listed below.
  • Space: Exhibits must fit on a 6' tabletop. There is NO wall space.  
  • A tri-fold project display board is ideal, but not mandatory.  
  • The exhibit should be self-explanatory and mostly visual.   
  • Text should be limited to 250 words and large enough to read from a distance.  
  • [optional] Provide at least 100 copies of a one-page handout with a more detailed description of your exhibit.  
  • Provide business cards with your contact information, or include in the handout. 
  • Provide a brief one-paragraph summary of your display, including your contact information, for the conference binders. 
  • Set up your exhibit on Sunday, November 2 between 12:00 noon and 3:00 PM. 
  • Breakdown your exhibit on Monday, November 3 at 4:00 PM
