The Executive Board of MSLMA met on Wednesday, June 14 at the Weston High School Library. There were 31 board members in attendance. We bid farewell to our members stepping down from committee positions and welcomed new committee members Patsy Divver (Media Forum Co-Editor), Bruce Cramer (Boston Area Co-Director), Robin Cicchetti (Metrowest Co-Director), Sue Crowther (Western Co-Director), Lauren Chabot (Student SIG), Susanna Paterson (Student SIG), Char Sidell (Metrowest Co-Director), and Mary Kelleher (PR Co-Chair). We are pleased to announce that the MSLMA web page will be looking forward to a facelift at the next conference. We have hired a professional graphic artist to redesign our logo and webpage. In conjunction with this effort, we are presenting our members with a vote to change the name of our organization from MSLMA (Massachusetts School Library Media Association) to a more consistent naming convention, MSLA (Massachusetts School Library Association).
