I graduated with a BA from Boston College, and worked in Human Resources at Raytheon Company as a Compensation Analysis. After marrying my husband, I stayed home to raise three children. During this time, I served on the boards of numerous volunteer organizations, and it was during this period that I became an enthusiastic supporter of Community Service Learning Programs in schools. My family moved from Barrington Rhode Island to Acton Massachusetts in 1993, and I started to volunteer in my children’s school libraries. One thing let to another, and I became the Manager of Library Services at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. After six years at ABRHS, I attended Cambridge College and was awarded a Masters of Education in Library/Media studies. Since 2004 I have been the librarian at North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend Ma. During these past two years I have enjoyed serving as the Central Region’s Co- Area Director of the MSLA.
