Biography: Alexandra Caram PDF Print E-mail

As one of the new co-chairs of the MSLA Student Interest Group at Simmons College, I am looking forward Alexandra Caramto another eventful year in the School Library Teacher Program and hope that the MSLA-SIG events will be as successful as last year.

This September I will begin my first practicum experience at the Martin Luther King Jr. and Amigos Schools in Cambridge. The library serves both K-8 schools, which will be an interesting challenge. I am excited for the hands on experience and look forward to learning from Sarah Novogrodsky, the library teacher for both schools.

All of the new officers for MSLA-SIG are eager to begin planning our two main events, the fall career panel and spring conference. With two officers attending the MSLA conference this fall, we are all looking forward to bringing fresh ideas and inspiration to the events, making this another wonderful year for MSLA-SIG at Simmons.
